 Introduction

Acid Dox H is a broad-spectrum peracetic acid, anti-microbial product. Designed for use as a high-grade sanitizer for the food processing industry. It is also ideal for use in the dairy, mineral water and beverage industries.

Method of Application

This product is recommended for CIP, filter bowl flooding; start up sanitizing and central sanitizing. The suggested dilution for general cleaning is 1:100 (1%) and can be used for the sanitizing of internal aluminum parts of filters, and is also effective against yeast, yoghurt, cheese and buttermilk bacteria.  It has been tested at 1:500 (0,2 %) and is effective against vegetative bacteria within a contact time of 5 minutes.  Rinse through pipes and leave overnight.  Rinse out before pumping products.  Use at ambient temperature – do not heat.

Washing and disinfecting of fresh fruits and vegetables – use 1:1000 to 1:5000.

Toxicology and First Aid

This product will react with all types of contaminants – particularly organic materials and alkali’s resulting in heat and oxygen release.

 

This product can cause corrosive burns as well as being injurious to health when swallowed. In the event of skin or eye contact, wash immediately with copious amounts of water and seek medical advice.
